The Bolzano hut is located at 2,457 m on the Sciliar plateau – the Sciliar is the quintessence of South Tyrolean mountains, akin to a castle overlooking the Alpe di Siusi, and surrounded by the Sassolungo and Sassopiatto, Catinaccio and Latemar mountains. The Rosengarten, legendary King Laurin’s beloved rose garden, is a long, craggy ridge featuring towers and pillars of unparalleled beauty.
